  11. Make ready 1 c. hot water
  12. Prepare 1 tsp. Better Than Bouillon base, beef
  13. Prepare 1 tsp. Better Than Bouillon base, chicken
  14. Take 2 pkgs. Reames frozen noodles

Nan's New Orleans Cafe and Poboy. In a frying pan over a medium heat, warm a little oil then add the onions, mushrooms and beef and cook and stir until mince is browned. Add the tomatoes, garlic, oregano, basil and bay leaves. Remove and discard the bay leaves once the time is up.

  3. Stir the Better Than Bouillon bases into the hot water. Add to the pot, along with the 2 boxes of broth. Increase heat and bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
  4. When boiling, reduce heat to lowest temperature and cover the pot. Cook on low for 2 hours, stirring every 20 minutes.
  5. Add Reames frozen noodles, stir, cover the pot and continue cooking on low another 1 hour and 45 minutes, stirring every 15-20 minutes.
  6. Serve. This goes well with buttered crusty bread!
